Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen has been slapped with a $2,000 fine for diving and embellishment.
The fine comes after Hansen's second citation was issued during the team's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Dec. 22. Players are issued a warning for diving for their first citation while subsequent citations welcome a fine and can include a coach's fine if a third citation follows.
Hansen's first citation came during a Nov. 4 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
