It wasn't even a month ago that Brandon Saad was taking the ice with the Columbus Blue Jackets' fourth line, but he's on fire of late.

The winger now has a three-game goal streak and points in seven straight after Alexander Wennberg found him all alone in the slot in front of Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby. Saad made no mistake with the deke to put his team up 2-1 on Saturday.

Saad now has 15 goals and 28 points after signing a six-year, $36 million deal in the offseason.
