The Montreal Canadiens confirmed Sunday they will be without forward Dale Weise for 2-3 weeks.
Weise is dealing with an upper-body injury suffered in Friday's Winter Classic against the Boston Bruins.
TVA's Renaud Lavoie reported Saturday that Weise would be out of the lineup for 5-10 games with an arm injury.
The 27-year-old has 11 goals and 20 points in 40 games.
