Emerson Etem is on the move after all.
The New York Rangers have dealt the young forward to the Vancouver Canucks for Nicklas Jensen and a sixth-round pick in 2017.
Etem, a first-round pick of the Anaheim Ducks back in 2010, appeared in only 19 games for the Rangers after being sent from California this past summer, with three assists to his credit.
Earlier Friday, it appeared he was heading to the AHL on a conditioning stint amid a bevy of trade rumors that, as it turns out, had some legs.
Jensen was chosen by the Canucks in the same spot as Etem in the draft (29th) a year later, and has recorded three goals and three assists in 24 NHL games to his credit.
