Ekblad out vs. Canucks after being boarded by Oilers' Hendricks
The Florida Panthers won't have their Calder Trophy winner in the lineup when they face the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.
Panthers head coach Gerard Gallant told reporters that defenseman Aaron Ekblad will not play in the contest, according to Sportsnet's Irfaan Gaffar.

The 19-year-old blue-liner was boarded by Matt Hendricks in Florida's 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday night. He briefly exited the game, but later returned.

Hendricks was scheduled to have a phone hearing with the league's Department of Player Safety on Monday.
The Panthers activated defenseman Steve Kampfer earlier Monday.
