Robin Lehner will inhabit the Buffalo Sabres' crease once again.

Buffalo has announced that Lehner was recalled from his American Hockey League conditioning assignment with the Rochester Americans.

Lehner injured his ankle 28 minutes into his Sabres' season opener on Oct. 8, and has been on the mend since.

He allowed 10 goals for an .888 save percentage during his conditioning stint, winning once in three appearances in his only performances of record this season.

Buffalo spent a first-round pick to acquire Lehner from the Ottawa Senators this offseason.

Linus Ullmark has been returned to Rochester in a corresponding move.
