The Vancouver Canucks aren't expecting to have their captain back until at least early February.
Henrik Sedin likely won't play until after the All-Star break, the club announced Monday. Head coach Willie Desjardins said Sedin is expected to be sent home from New York, where the Canucks will play the Rangers on Tuesday night.
Sedin was hit from behind by Mikhail Grabovski in Sunday's win over the New York Islanders.

The Canucks forward left the game and didn't return after the hit, for which Grabovski is reportedly not expected to face discipline.
Vancouver has three games remaining on its six-game road trip - against the Rangers, Boston Bruins, and Pittsburgh Penguins - before wrapping up its pre-All-Star schedule at home against the Nashville Predators on Jan. 26.
The Canucks host the Columbus Blue Jackets upon returning from the break on Feb. 4.
Henrik's brother, Daniel, will represent Vancouver on the Pacific Division squad.
