Finally getting some ice time, Kerby Rychel may not want to leave Columbus anytime soon with the way he's producing.
The 21-year-old recorded his third point in five games with his first NHL goal on Tuesday in a game against the Washington Capitals, after linemate William Karlsson made a beautiful move to thwart defenseman Taylor Chorney and dished a nice pass to the rookie.
It was revealed earlier in the month that Rychel demanded a trade from the Blue Jackets during the offseason, but it doesn't look like he'll be dropping back down the depth chart anytime soon.
