Babcock serves up rare one-liner at Maple Leafs practice

John E. Sokolowski / USA TODAY Sports

Mike Babcock isn't exactly affable with the throng of reporters tasked with covering the Toronto Maple Leafs on a day-to-day basis.

But he was a riot Thursday.

The often-salty (apparently caffeine-dependent) Leafs coach used a slice of Canadiana to deliver a rare one-liner after news of Tim Horton's inclusion in the organization's Legends Row.

Dave Keon and Turk Broda join Horton as the latest intermittent additions to the shrine which already celebrates Ted Kennedy, Darryl Sittler, Johnny Bower, Borje Salming, George Armstrong, Syl Apps, and Mats Sundin.
