The Colorado Avalanche will get a gigantic boost to their blue line Saturday against the high-scoring Dallas Stars.
Erik Johnson will return to the lineup for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury on Jan. 4.
Johnson will miss his ninth game in a row Friday against the St. Louis Blues, setting the stage for his return in the second game of a back-to-back.

The 27-year-old has seven goals and nine assists in 40 games this season. The Avalanche have gone 5-3-0 since he sustained the injury.
