Joe Thornton records career point 1,300 with perfect pass
"Jumbo Joe" reached a rather large milestone Tuesday night.
Joe Thornton, the veteran San Jose Sharks center, recorded the 1,300th point of his career exactly how you'd expect: with a perfect feed.
With a perfect cross-ice pass, Joe Thornton earns career point number 1,300.

The helper was Thornton's second of the game and he becomes only the 32nd player in NHL history to record 1,300 or more points. A whopping 933 have come on assists.
