San Jose Sharks forward Raffi Torres cleared waivers Saturday, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
It is expected that he will be sent down to the AHL's San Jose Barracuda.
Bottom line on Raffi Torres is this: he'll almost certainly clear waivers, and #SJSharks hope he recovers enough to be an effective player

Torres did not record a point in three games with the Barracuda during a brief conditioning stint before the All-Star break.
The 34-year-old has not played in the NHL this season after receiving a 41-game suspension for delivering a head shot to Anaheim Ducks forward Jakob Silfverberg in the preseason. Torres also underwent knee surgery in December, prolonging his absence.
He has 137 goals and 123 assists in 635 career NHL games.
