John Scott: 'You can't write it this way. It was definitely breathtaking'
Don't pinch John Scott.
The Pacific Division captain was over the moon after he led his team to an All-Star Game title and was named MVP as a write-in candidate.
"You can't write it this way," Scott said when he met the media. "It was definitely breathtaking."
"I loved it. It was the coolest thing I've done in hockey for sure," he added. "Probably one of the better weekends of my life, I'm not gonna lie."

Scott, known as only an enforcer and fighter, was happy to change the way he's perceived.
"I got sick and tired of reading that I was just a slow-footed goon that was here as a joke," he said, also referencing his first-person article in The Players' Tribune.

Playing in the AHL after a trade to the Montreal Canadiens, Scott's hoping he'll get another crack in the NHL.
"I don't know if this changes anything as far as my career goes. Hopefully it does," he said. If not, "I'll work a 9-to-5," he added.
One of the best parts of Scott's magical 48 hours was the fact he got to share it with his family.

"I feel like I'm dreaming," Scott's wife said. "Can't believe this is happening. It's so nice for people to see who (Scott) really is."
"Just thank you so much," Scott concluded. "I love this city. Thank you so much."
