Sean Couturier: Out four weeks
Couturier will miss four weeks with a lower-body injury, Kyle Phillippi of CSN Philly reports.
Analysis:
Couturier, a proficient two-way forward, had missed three games before the All-Star break due to a lower-body injury, which we suspect is related to this latest setback. The 23-year-old logged 17:44 of ice time against the Canadiens in the first game after the break but was limited to just 11:35 in his most recent showing, a win over the Predators on Thursday. In the last series of games that Couturier missed, the Flyers went 1-2-0 and that's an ominous sign for a Flyers team trying to stay competitive in a Metropolitan Division that only has one team with a losing record (Columbus: 20-28-5).
