St. Louis Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was placed on the injured reserve with a right knee injury and will be re-evaluated in three weeks, the team announced Monday.

Pietrangelo was injured during Saturday's 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild after a knee-on-knee collision with forward Charlie Coyle.
The 26-year-old has three goals and 20 assists this season, and leads the Blues in ice time, averaging 26:40 per game.
