The Los Angeles Kings have placed Christian Ehrhoff on waivers.
The 33-year-old defenseman appeared in 40 games with the Kings after signing a one-year, $1.5-million contract last summer.
Here's how the rest of that deal will play out depending on whether he's claimed.
Ehrhoff will be a $550,000 annual buried cap hit if he clears and sent to AHL. He'd be $475,806 to an interested team and is UFA this summer

Ehrhoff recorded two goals and eight assists with a five-on-five Corsi rating of 54.6 while averaging 15:10 of ice time with the Kings.
