Chicago Blackhawks rookie sensation Artemi Panarin will miss a second straight game Thursday versus the Dallas Stars, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis:
Panarin's absence was certainly felt by the Hawks in Tuesday's shutout loss to the Sharks, as the team appeared out of sorts offensively without the Russian winger on the ice. Panarin's ailment isn't expected to keep him out long term, but his status is worth monitoring ahead of Saturday's matchup with Anaheim. Richard Panik is expected to slot into Panarin's spot on Chicago's second line in Thursday's contest.
