Jaromir Jagr ties Gordie Howe for 3rd in all-time points

With an assist in Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche, Jaromir Jagr of the Florida Panthers tied Gordie Howe for third on the NHL's all-time points list with 1,850.
Jagr drew the secondary helper on defenseman Erik Gudbranson's goal. The assist gave Jagr 1,107 assists to go along with 743 goals.
The milestone point comes in Jagr's 1,611th career game. Howe played 1,767 games.
