Eller (lower body) was at practice Wednesday and hopes to return to game action Thursday night against the Sabres, the Montreal Gazette reports.
Analysis:
Eller sustained the injury last week against the Kings and played through it in Winnipeg before he was forced to sit out Tuesday's win over Dallas. It was originally announced as an upper-body injury, then changed to a lower-body one before Eller jokingly called it a "mid-body" injury. At any rate, it doesn't appear to be serious and the big Dane is angling to play Thursday's home game.
