The Montreal Canadiens were paced by an unlikely source Tuesday night in their win over the Anaheim Ducks.
Forward Mike Brown had the first multi-point game of his season, scoring once and adding an assist in a 4-3 win. His offensive explosion came after he brought back his trademark mustache. He'd been sporting a beard prior to Tuesday's game.
While his teammates were on him to go back to the 'stache, it was Brown's wife who made it all happen.
"She wanted the duster back," Brown said, according to NHL.com's Arpon Basu.
Thank you, Mrs. Mike Brown.
Brown's goal was his first as a Canadien.
"I've been fortunate enough to have a first goal with every team I've played on. I'll have a nice spot on my wall for it" - Mike Brown.
