A familiar face is back in the fold for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Marcus Kruger will play Saturday against the Calgary Flames after missing more than three months recovering from a dislocated wrist.

The 25-year-old forward was reunited with his old linemates at practice Friday, joining Andrew Shaw and Andrew Desjardins on the fourth line.

Kruger's return comes about three weeks earlier than originally expected.

He managed only a single point in 33 games before his injury.

The Swedish center has spent his entire six-year career with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup in 2013 and 2015.
