Former U.S. track star Lolo Jones spoke out Monday in defense of Bahamian sprinter Shaunae Miller's desperation plunge that won her gold in the 400m at Rio 2016 by the slightest of margins over Allyson Felix.
"(People) are mad Miller won with a dive, but most (professionals) at one point have used that tactic to win," Jones tweeted. "Miller didn't cheat Allyson, she won fair."

Miller threw her 6-foot-1 frame over the line to fend off the incredible charge from Felix - the track scraping her anatomy as she broke the threshold - and capture her first Olympic medal.
