Germany to meet Brazil as titans clash for Olympic gold

Germany will face Brazil for gold in men's soccer after goals from Lukas Klostermann and Nils Petersen handed Die Mannschaft a 2-0 semifinal win over Nigeria in Sao Paulo.

Brazil thrashed Honduras 6-0 earlier in the day, with Neymar scoring twice to set up a fascinating rematch just two years after Germany obliterated the Selecao 7-1 in the infamous World Cup semifinal clash at the Maracana.

Despite boasting a combined nine World Cup wins, neither country has won Olympic gold as a unified nation. East Germany won the 1976 gold in Montreal.
