Rory McIlroy is hoping his newest Nike golf ball will be his good luck charm at Oakmont this weekend.
The 27-year-old will have a different custom ball for the U.S. Open from the custom ball he used at the Masters. Unlike the green camouflage mark on his first, this weekend's ball will don a red camouflage Nike logo and "US2" underneath to represent his pursuit of his second U.S. Open Championship victory.
McIlroy will be looking for a better result than he had at the Masters after finishing four shots behind eventual winner Danny Willett.
