Presented with a golden opportunity to keep his tournament hopes alive, Billy Horschel could not get it done.
All Horschel had to do was drain a short putt to make par, and he would join four other golfers on a second playoff hole at the RSM Classic.
The ball lipped out, however, leaving Horschel with a harsh lesson learned.
They say you learn more from losses than wins. I believe it's true. For me, I didn't take my time over that short putt. Simple as that.
