3 players to watch Sunday at the Genesis Open
Adam Scott (-5)
A natural ball-striker at a ball-striker's golf course. Scott has always played well at Riviera over his career and is in contention again heading into Sunday. The Aussie is ranked fourth among the field in greens hit over two-and-half days, and looks well-adjusted on the putting surface since having to return to a shorter flatstick.
Jordan Spieth (-5)
Spieth is a threat wherever and whenever he tips it up. The Texan thought the lead would be larger after his round Saturday, believing the conditions were ideal for the afternoon groups. Spieth is just five back of Johnson, despite fighting his driver through two rounds. Last week's AT&T winner, has a weekend scoring average of 67.3 this season - which is pretty good.
Ollie Schniederjans (-5)
The rookie was on the favorable side of the second-round draw, and fired a 2-under-par 69 to go along with his opening 68. Schniederjans is averaging 26 putts per round and is driving the ball well, which is a must at Riviera Country Club - just ask Jason Day. The former Georgia Tech standout went back to his lower ball flight at Torrey Pines and it has led to a tie for ninth.
