McIlroy's on the mend after a rib injury, but remains on target to play the WGC-Mexico Championship, which begins March 2.
"That's still the plan," McIlroy's manager told Golf Channel.
As for Trump, McIlroy said he wasn't planning to play on the weekend, according to No Laying Up, but made an exception for the president. Wouldn't you?
