Watch: Kaymer tries to use grandstand to escape trouble

Martin Kaymer's drive at the par-4 ninth ended up behind a pair of trees, preventing him from taking a direct line to the green.

Kaymer got creative with his second shot, trying to bank the ball off the grandstand toward the green.

It didn't go to plan for the German, as the shot ricocheted into the greenside bunker, but he did get up-and-down for par.
