United Airlines drew widespread criticism earlier this month following the forcible removal of a passenger on one of its flights, and now the company is being blamed for damaging a professional golfer's set of clubs.
Five-time Web.com Tour winner Mat Goggin tweeted a photo Monday of three broken clubs, which he discovered after landing. He noted this is the first time in over 20 years it has happened to him.
First time in 20+ years I've opened my bag to find this... I was going to complain but I must admit I'm a little intimidated by @united pic.twitter.com/bmKwquMqb1
