Crane resolves $6K putting debt with Berger
Ben Crane took some heat on Twitter this week from Tom Gillis over allegedly betting $6,000 in a putting contest, losing, and failing to pay up.

Charley Hoffman later wrote on Instagram that it was Daniel Berger who lost to Crane at the Phoenix Open.
"One thing was said and another thing was said. It was miscommunicated," Crane told Ryan Lavner of the Golf Channel after his round at the Zurich Classic on Thursday. "But we're all good. We had a great conversation about it."
Payment has been made in full👏👏👏👏. Well done @bencranegolf

While Gillis tweeted to say the bet had been resolved, Crane said the 48-year-old Tour journeyman isn't aware of the full story.
"He wasn't there. He has no idea what happened," Crane said. "There's no reason for me to defend myself. Daniel and I had our conversation, and that was it so we're all good."
