Woods is currently rehabbing after having fusion surgery on his back in April. He penned a blog post last week about the progress of his recovery.
"I haven't felt this good in years," the 41-year-old wrote.
Despite four back surgeries since 2014, Woods also wrote that he hopes to return to the sport.
"I want to say, unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again."
Woods isn't expected to play again this season. The 14-time major winner last won a tournament in 2013 at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational. His last major title came in 2008 at the U.S. Open.
