Azinger: Some players think painkillers have been a problem for Tiger

Paul Azinger was asked about Tiger Woods' DUI arrest Thursday on "The Herd" on Fox Sports 1, and the former Ryder Cup captain didn't pull any punches in regards to the 14-time major champion's recent struggles.

"I know firsthand there are some players that think there's a problem there with Tiger," Azinger told Colin Cowherd. "I don't, I haven't been around him much the last few years. But there are some players out there that are saying this has been a problem for a while."

Woods blew a 0.000 on the Breathalyzer, but did have a number medications in his system, and Azinger stated that's a major concern to him.

"Tiger's close to a few people. Not many. And the few people that are around Tiger probably know there's a problem," said the 1993 PGA champion. "And if they don't intervene, then it's on them. But addiction's a big deal, and if he's addicted, then somebody better intervene."
