The rough at Erin Hills for the 117th U.S. Open has been a hot topic among players and caddies this weekend in Wisconsin.
While playing a practice round Sunday on the course, Kevin Na released a video commenting on the thick fescue just off the fairways.
Na demonstrates how unplayable it is by tossing a ball into the tall rough, and then trying to advance his ball out of the gnarly grass.
"It's like a hazard. Every hole we've got this," says Na. "Every hole."
The 33-year-old takes two hacks at the ball, and then concludes his tirade about how he'd like the course to be set up.
"Why can't we have a lot of the past U.S. Open winners get together and set up a major? I'd like to see that happen one day."
