Tiger announces he's receiving professional help to manage medications

Following a DUI arrest last month, Tiger Woods announced Monday that he's receiving professional help to manage his medications.

Here's the statement, via his Twitter account:

Woods, 41, was taken into custody early in the morning on May 29, after being found in his car on the side of a Florida road, asleep at the wheel from what he declared was an "unexpected reaction to prescribed medications" in a statement.

His breathalyzer test indicated alcohol wasn't involved, and on the official arrest affidavit, four medications were listed. It was later revealed Woods told officers he had taken Xanax as well.

Woods' professional career remains incredibly murky, but he was adamant in saying he plans on returning to the PGA Tour, writing he "unequivocally" wants to play golf again after undergoing fusion surgery on his back, a statement that was released just days before his arrest.
