Thomas, Hadwin among notables to miss cut at Quicken Loans National

Justin Thomas and Adam Hadwin are heading home early, after both missed the cut at the Quicken Loans National at TPC Potomac.
Thomas' week came undone at the par-5 10th hole Thursday, when he made a quadruple-bogey 9 en route an opening-round 74. The 24-year-old made the turn at 1-under par on Friday, but bogeyed three of his last six holes to finish with a 71.
Hadwin made a bogey on the 16th on Friday, and then was unable to convert a 11-foot birdie attempt at the last hole, which would've gotten him into the weekend.
