Garcia hurts shoulder by hitting gorse bush in frustration
The second round of The Open Championship is testing everyone's emotions, thanks to more classic Open weather at Royal Birkdale on Friday.
At the par-3 fourth hole, Sergio Garcia's poor tee shot settled just shy of the gorse bush to the right of the green, leaving The Masters champion an awkward lie and stance.
After playing his second shot, Garcia turned around and smashed his club into the gorse - then immediately grabbed his shoulder in pain and required some medical attention.

"It wasn't very smart," Garcia told the Golf Channel after his round. "It felt like the muscles on my shoulder just went one on top of the other. I was a little sore on the next tee, but I took some ibuprofen and Advil, and had some work done on the eighth tee. It obviously started to loosen up as the round went on."
Garcia bogeyed the hole, but rebounded with an eagle at the fifth, and finished the day with a very determined 1-under-par 69 in harsh conditions. The 37-year-old sits at 2-over par for the championship, and will make the cut.
