There weren't many who thought Stephen Curry would do well in his pro debut at the Ellie Mae Classic.
Curry's over/under line for his lowest score in any round was 76.5, and PGA Tour pro Steve Wheatcroft believed there was "no chance in hell" the two-time NBA MVP would break 76.
After posting a 4-over 74 on Thursday, which included a trio of birdies, Curry fired back at Wheatcroft on Twitter:
Hell hath frozen over 😂

Wheatcroft took the jab well, and admitted he was wrong as he was heading out to dinner to eat some crow:
Headed out to dinner. Assuming that Crow is on the menu tonight. I'll eat plenty. Haha. Well played @StephenCurry30 pic.twitter.com/XEzBWkLXhj
