It's a stacked leaderboard at The Northern Trust with Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, and Jhonattan Vegas all sharing the 36-hole lead at 6-under par.

Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson trail the co-leaders by one, while Jon Rahm, Justin Rose, and Russell Henley are two shots back heading into the weekend.

Here are five insane numbers from an eventful Day 2 at Glen Oaks Club:

0

That's the amount of pars Chris Stroud made on his opening nine in a very adventurous 2-over-par 72. Stroud recorded five birdies and a bogey on his opening six holes, but went backwards with bogeys at Nos. 16 and 17 and then made a double-bogey six at 18 - his ninth - for a front-nine 35.

Jordan Spieth began his round making one bogey and one birdie on the front nine to remain at 1-under par for the tournament, but then he went on a roll. Spieth birdied Nos. 10, 11, 12, 13, before walking in a seven-foot budgie at the par-4 14th hole. The Texan would bogey the very next hole, but would rebound with another birdie at No. 16 and would post a back-nine 30.

Spieth wasn't the only hot player on the Glen Oaks' layout on Day 2. Matt Kuchar had an even better run of good scores, making two bogeys in his first seven holes in the second round, but went on a heater to finish the day at 6-under-par 64. The 39-year-old made four straight birdies beginning at the par-4 eighth, then made back-to-back budgies Nos. 13 and 14, as well as Nos. 16 and 17 for a final-nine 29.

Spieth was seen on the practice green early Friday morning in attempt to fix his wonky putting stroke. The reigning Open champion recorded 33 putts on Thursday, holing just 49 feet of putts. On Friday, the early work paid off for Spieth, dropping 147 feet of putts in his second round and gaining 3.455 strokes putting on the field.

1,321

Dustin Johnson is one of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour and he displayed his power with five swings in the second round. The world No. 1 sent five full shots 1,321 yards combined to start his final holes.
