Watch: Mickelson holes ridiculous eagle chip at BMW Championship
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
Phil Mickelson is simply an artist with a wedge in his hands.
The 47-year-old's tee shot at the short par-4 15th finished just shy of the putting surface, but it left him a tricky up-and-down for birdie with little green to work with.
Mickelson, however, once again displayed his short game wizardry, flopping his ball just onto the green, and watched it fall into the cup for an eagle.
The eagle moved the five-time major winner to 9-under par for the tournament.
