Woods fires final-round 68, finishes Hero World Challenge at 8-under
Tiger Woods capped off his week at the Hero World Challenge with a final-round 68 to post an 8-under for the tournament.
Woods, making his first start since withdrawing at Dubai in February, dropped six birdies and an eagle in his final round en route to his third sub-70 score of the week.
The 41-year-old's moment of the week came at the par-4 seventh Sunday, when he drove the green with his tee shot, then curled in a putt for an eagle. Woods would birdie the par-5 ninth to post a front-nine 31, but dropped two shots with a double-bogey at No. 10.
The former world No. 1 responded by trimming shots at Nos. 11, 14, and 15, but bogeyed his last two holes to finish in a tie for ninth in the 18-player field.
Woods hasn't said when he'll make his PGA Tour debut, but it'll most likely come in January.
