Thomas goes crazy after hearing Alabama football made playoff
Justin Thomas didn't win Sunday at the Hero World Challenge, but he did get some really good news midway through his final round.
After finishing the par-3 eighth hole, Thomas' caddie informed the reigning PGA champion that Alabama snagged the final spot in the College Football Playoff.

The 24-year-old found the fairway with his tee shot at No. 9, then dropped his 5-wood approach on the green for an eagle attempt.

Thomas made the eagle putt at the ninth, then made four birdies and a double on the back nine to post a final-round 68.
