McIlroy's Masters odds go up after Arnold Palmer win
After a dominant showing at Bay Hill, Rory McIlroy has gained some steam leading up to the Masters.
McIlroy snapped a lengthy personal drought and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational at 18-under over the weekend, and, as a result, has seen his odds to win at Augusta National go up.
Here's a look at the updated odds for some of the game's best players:
Player | Odds |
---|---|
Tiger Woods | 8-1 |
Rory McIlroy | 10-1 |
Dustin Johnson | 10-1 |
Justin Thomas | 10-1 |
Jordan Spieth | 14-1 |
Justin Rose | 14-1 |
Jason Day | 16-1 |
Jon Rahm | 16-1 |
Rickie Fowler | 18-1 |
Phil Mickelson | 18-1 |
Tiger Woods remains the favorite after another strong showing last week, finishing T-5 at 10-under.
Before winning at Bay Hill, the 14th PGA Tour victory of his career, McIlroy's odds to win the Masters sat at 16-1. If he's able to pull it off and earn his first-ever green jacket, he'll become just the sixth golfer to complete the career grand slam.
The Masters runs April 5-8.
