Joe Buck correctly identifies Koepka's girlfriend after 2017 U.S. Open gaffe
After awkwardly misidentifying Brooks Koepka's girlfriend, Jena Sims, as his ex, Becky Edwards, at the 2017 U.S. Open, FOX broadcaster Joe Buck made sure not to make the same mistake this time around.
As the couple celebrated Koepka's second straight U.S. Open title Sunday, Buck avoided mentioning Sims.

He did mention Sims later in the broadcast, though, and put emphasis on her name.
"Well, Brooks Koepka talked recently about how he feels he's underachieved in his career," Buck said, according to Alex Myers of Golf Digest. "And now, he and Jena again celebrate the U.S. Open championship."
Sims told USA TODAY Sports' Josh Peter that she's forgiven Buck for the gaffe.
"He clarified my name this week, so I appreciate it," she said. "But I didn’t really care ... He talked to Brooks. They met up at that baseball game last year, but I was working so I didn't get to go and experience that."
