Tiger Woods carded his second straight even-par 71 during Round 2 of The Northern Trust on Friday, a round in which he left plenty of shots on the table but was still good enough to make the weekend.

In a similar start to Thursday's round, Tiger failed to find any momentum, parring his first six holes at Ridgewood Country Club. That stretch included a missed four-foot birdie putt on the par-5 3rd.

He finally broke through with a birdie on No. 7 and another on No. 13 after giving himself two makeable putts. Woods hit 14 straight greens in regulation to begin his round.

Of course, Tiger's first missed green led to his first bogey of the day on No. 15 after failing to convert another four-foot putt.

In extremely ugly fashion, Woods three-putted his final hole to slip back to even par for the week.

The two-time FedEx Cup winner only missed two greens in regulation on Friday, with his putter letting him down continually. He lost over three strokes on the greens and ranks second-last in putting for the event.

It's the first time since the 2005 U.S. Open in which Woods hit over 15 greens in regulation and failed to break par.

Woods ended his second round in a tie for 67th, 10 shots behind leader Jamie Lovemark.

His third round begins Saturday alongside Ian Poulter at 7:50 a.m. ET.
