Justin Rose claims 2018 FedEx Cup
Tiger Woods stole the headlines with his Tour Championship victory, but Justin Rose claimed the 2018 FedEx Cup by finishing in a tie for fourth at the season-ending event.
Rose entered the finale second on the points list, but Bryson DeChambeau relinquished control of the top spot by finishing outside the top 15, allowing the Englishman to claim the $10-million prize.
Woods ended up second on the points list with his Tour Championship win and will take home $3 million in addition to his tournament winnings.
Dustin Johnson made a late charge on Sunday and needed to make birdie on his final hole to secure the FedEx Cup with a T-2 result. However, he parred 18 and finished in fourth on the points list.
DeChambeau slipped to third despite winning two postseason events.
