Report: Johnson, Koepka separated during altercation after Ryder Cup
Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka reportedly needed to be separated during an altercation in the European team room Sunday evening after the Ryder Cup, according to Tim Rosaforte of Golf Channel.
The dustup came on the heels of an ugly 17.5 to 10.5 Ryder Cup loss while the American squad was reportedly visiting the winning European team.
The reason for the heated exchange is unknown.
Johnson and Koepka are considered close friends and spend plenty of time together working out at Joey D Golf Performance Center in Jupiter, Fla.
The two were partners Saturday afternoon at the Ryder Cup, losing to Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson in their alternate shot match.
This is the latest Team USA drama to unfold after a disappointing Ryder Cup, as Patrick Reed provided his thoughts on former partner Jordan Spieth and team captain Jim Furyk earlier this week.
