Koepka wins Player of the Year honors

Brooks Koepka has been named Player of the Year by the PGA Tour for the 2017-18 season, the organization announced Tuesday.
Koepka ends the season with six top-10 finishes, including major victories at the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open. He was also the runner-up at both the Fort Worth Invitational and the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions.

The 28-year-old finished ninth in the FedExCup standings and earned the fifth most in Tour winnings with just under $7.1 million.
