Reed to 'fatten those boys up' with creamy Champions Dinner menu
As defending Masters champion, Patrick Reed is tasked with putting together Tuesday night's Champions Dinner menu at Augusta National.
Reed didn't hold back on the cream-heavy options. His featured bone-in ribeye will be accompanied by macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, and creamed corn - a menu he's apparently been thinking about for a long time.
"Oh, I knew that back when I was 13," said Reed, according to Golf Digest's Christopher Powers. "I mean, it was always a bone-in ribeye, mac and cheese, creamed corn, creamed spinach. I'm going to fatten those boys up a little bit."
Creme brulee is also one of the dessert options.
