Malnati leads Houston Open as darkness suspends Round 2

Darkness forced a suspension of play on Friday at the Houston Open with Peter Malnati holding a one-stroke lead over Talor Gooch.
Malnati fired a 7-under 65 to sit at 10-under through 36 holes, while Gooch is at 9-under through 32.
Sepp Straka, Nick Watney, and Lanto Griffin are tied at 8-under. Straka is the only one of those three who has completed his second round.
The round will resume at 8 a.m. local time on Saturday.
