Woods-Thomas duo headline Day 1 pairings at Presidents Cup

The first pairings announcement of the Presidents Cup took place Wednesday, with captains Tiger Woods and Ernie Els revealing the first session's matchups.
As defending champion, Woods deferred the first selection to Els who sent out Aussie Marc Leishman and rookie Joaquin Niemann. Tiger countered with himself and Justin Thomas.
Here are the matchups in order for Session 1 four-ball:

Sitting in Session 1 for the Americans is Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler. As for the Internationals, Haotong Li and Cam Smith will not see action on Day 1.
